Meet Todd Smith
Todd Smith is a community-driven conservative with 30 years of West Texas roots and a proven record of service, leadership, and fiscal responsibility. A Business Connectivity Consultant with Snider Technology Services, Todd helps local governments and organizations audit technology contracts, eliminate waste, and modernize critical infrastructure—often without increasing budgets. His work focuses on protecting taxpayers, improving services, and making sure every dollar is working as hard as the people who earned it.
In addition to his professional experience in telecommunications and IT auditing, Todd is actively involved in community leadership. He serves on the Men’s Leadership Team and leads the Golf Ministry at Glen Meadows Baptist Church, is Vice Chair (Chair-Elect) of the United Way of the Concho Valley Board of Directors, and is President of the Concho Valley Technology Alliance. He is also the founder of the Laura Lee Lewis Memorial Scholarship, helping students who demonstrate leadership, service, and an interest in public affairs.
Todd is a current Honorary Commander, 4th Cohort, and a Leadership San Angelo graduate, strengthening ties between civic, business, and military partners while deepening his understanding of the needs and opportunities across Tom Green County.
Todd and his wife, Sandy, have been married for 30 years. Their son lives in Midland, where he is studying to become a diesel mechanic. Their daughter, Emily, passed away at age 25, an experience that has deepened Todd’s compassion and his commitment to supporting families across the Concho Valley.
As your candidate for Tom Green County Commissioner, Precinct 2, Todd is committed to protecting taxpayers, prioritizing roads and public safety, and bringing greater transparency and accountability to county government. His guiding principles are simple: faith and family first, integrity above politics, and responsible stewardship of your tax dollars.
