Voter Help

  • Who can vote

A person can vote for a county commissioner if they are:

    A registered voter

You must be registered to vote in Texas.

County commissioners are elected by precinct, not countywide.

You can only vote for the commissioner who represents the precinct where you live.

    At least 18 years old

    On or before Election Day.

    A U.S. citizen

    Not disqualified from voting

For example, not currently serving a felony sentence (unless rights have been restored) and not judged mentally incapacitated without restoration of rights.
